AOP Anjou Blanc "Ledit Vin Chenin"

  • Type of wine :

Dry white wine, 100 % chenin.

  • Vinification :

Harvesting (by hand) takes place over several weeks at the end of October, with the aim of picking a maximum of very ripe grapes. Fermentation and maturation take place slowly in new oak barrels for 9 months. Bottling takes place at the end of July.

  • Tasting :

Eye : Straw yellow with hints of gold.

 

Nose : Vanilla notes with white fruit aromas. A wine of great complexity.

 

Palate : Lively and invigorating from the outset, the mouth is pleasantly smooth and finely wooded.

  • Food and wine pairing :

Serve chilled, at 8-10°C. A wine to be served with a filet mignon of pork in cream sauce, foie gras, salmon in Swedish sauce, scallops with mushrooms and parmesan.
