AOP Crémant de Loire Blanc

  • Type of wine :

Dry white sparkling wine

50% chardonnay and 50% chenin

  • Vinification :

The grapes, when correctly ripe (yellow berries), are harvested by hand (obligatory) and transported in open crates to avoid crushing and maceration. The pressing is delicate. The different grape varieties are vinified separately and blended just before the second fermentation process (in the bottle). This Crémant is a blend of Chenin, which brings its velvety, fresh acidity and aromatic complexity, and Chardonnay for structure and amplitude. Once the wine has been made, it is vinified and stored on laths in the tuffeau cellars of Langlois Château in Saumur for a minimum of 12 months before being able to start the final production stage ("dégorgement") and savour the divine bottles.

  • Tasting :

Eye : Pale yellow colour with little hints of gold and beautiful delicate bubbles.

Nose : The delicacy is also revealed in the nose with aromas of white fruits and notes of acacia.

Palate : The attack is smooth and full. The aromas pleasantly fruity, evoking peach, nuanced with fresh notes. Good persistence in the mouth. The whole is of great finesse.

  • Food and wine pairing :
Fresh, at 8-10°C, it's perfect as an aperitif, for a cocktail party or with dessert.
