IGP Val de Loire Sauvignon

  • Type of wine :
Dry white wine, 100% sauvignon blanc
  • Vinification :
Like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc is a grape grown in most French vineyards (Sancerre, Provence, Bordeaux) and abroad. Sauvignon is an extremely capricious grape. The level of maturity of the grapes at harvest time is crucial in the characteristics and quality of wine produced. We are looking for complete maturity, even "over ripeness", which allows us to obtain aromatics notes of exotic fruits and fresh white fruits. On the other hand, it also aims to soften the natural liveliness of this grape variety, optimising a good balance in flavour and taste.
  • Tasting :
Eye : Pale yellow with hints of green.
Nose : Good intensity with aromas of elderflower and lychee.
Mouth : Good attack with a lot of amplitude and persistence. Notes of fresh white fruit and mango.  Well balanced.
  • Food and wine pairing :
This wine is "ready to drink" at any time of the day. Serve chilled at 8-10°C, it is the perfect companion for oysters, seafood, and goat cheese.
